IV2 and II2 students with teachers Duška, Radica and Tanja visited the Special Nature Reserve “Carska bara”. During the trip, we enjoyed a boat ride and experienced the magic of Tsarska Bara.
We found out who are the inhabitants of Tsarska Bara? Who are resident birds and who are migratory? What is allowed and what is not allowed to be done in zones I, II and III degree of protection? All this and much more about the picturesque bar landscapes was told to us by the wonderful Jasna Jovanov from the Public Institution “Nature Reserve” Zrenjanin, to whom we would like to express our special thanks.
The students participated in the workshop “Zivko the Cross and the Beautiful Dove”, explored nature by looking for stations with questions about birds. We talked about the importance of recycling and how to give objects a new purpose by making bird feeders.
The trip was organized as part of the “City Chat” project, which was authored by teachers Dušica Gligorovski, Radica Ristić and parents of our school, Bojana Lukić and Jasmina Cvetić, with their colleagues. Our project is part of the “Green Incubator” project, which is implemented by Young Researchers of Serbia, Belgrade Open School, Environmental Protection Engineers with the financial support of the European Union.
